Everyone in the self-help space is focused on the ‘why’. Find your why; what’s your why; etc. And for good reason. If you know why you are doing something – your true, primal motivation – you have a much better chance of being successful. Because science.
Here’s the thing: sometimes we just do shit because we want to or because we enjoy it. You don’t always need a reason.
Anyway, here’s what I am reading, watching, listening to, looking at, etc.
What I’m Reading:
The Bourn Identity by Robert Ludlum – This book is long and it is awesome. The best part is that it has some parallels to the movie but for the most part is completely different. I have been obsessed since the very first page, literally.
What I’m Watching:
Hard Knocks – Football season is upon us (Go Brownies). And this show makes me want to run through and freaking wall. Then sit on the couch and watch football whist staring at my fantasy team.
What I’m Listening To:
Cory Gregory’s interview with Arnold Schwarzenegger – One of the most influential people in the fitness space right now (President and Founder of MusclePharm, Squat Every Day) interviewing THE most influential man in the history of fitness and training. This shit is incredibly inspiring.
