Yesterday I wrote a bit about the deadlift ladder that Chris, Justin, Derek, and I did at Titan’s. It was a 10, 5, 3, 1, 3, 5, 10 and the goal was for the second 3, 5, 10 to be heavier than the first. This is a lot of volume for a deadlift workout but I was down to get after it. Plus, I wanted to see if Derek could really pull 500 (he did).

Here’s what my numbers looked like:

185 x 10, 220 x 5, 265 x 3, 320 x 1, 267 x 3, 230 x 5, 200 x 10 = brutal

It felt great though and feels even better today. Plus, I threw in some bench and one-arm rows for good measure.

  
Today is pretty legit because we are leaving work at 2:15 to go play golf at Signature of Solon, which will be freaking awesome. It’s cool when we get to do stuff like that at work. And then tomorrow, as I wrote about yesterday, we are leaving for Nola, so I have two short days.

That’s really all I have for today but hey, this was fun.
